What Is Acca Insurance?

What is Acca Insurance is a very common question on Goggle searches and social media, and forums, etc.

The answer is that Acca Insurance is essentially a money back option given to football punters on by selected bookmakers.

It is based on your Saturday afternoon accumulator bet. Basically, if you pick 5 teams in your accumulator bet, and 4 win, and only one lets you down, you get your money back as a free bet.

This varies from bookmaker to bookmaker. Most bookmakers base it on a minimum of 5 teams, with some bookmakers only accepting it on major leagues like the Premier League or La Liga, while some will allow it on any league, and in the case of William Hill at the moment, on nearly all sports.

Acca Insurance refund can be very large amounts. For example, the Paddy Power Acca Insurance refund is £50. Most will generally give refunds up to a maximum of around £20 to £25, with the best paying ones giving out refunds up to £50.

If you place accumulator bets at the weekend, or any day or night, then make sure your bookmaker offers you acca insurance, otherwise you are missing out.
